Electronic / Mechanical Technician
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, Repair boards for the Verigy V5500 and V6000 assemblies
- Test and repair boards, touch up, and rework failures
Requirements:
- Component level experience a must
- Digital and Analog circuit experience a must
- Ability to read schematics
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings
- Ability to interface with fellow technicians daily
Reports to: Advantest Supervisor
Pay Rate: $28-$30/hr. DOE
Mechanical Assembler
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and other written and verbal instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Utilize handheld tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
- Performing soldering
- Work with all types of components
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualification requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience
- Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
- PC/MRP experience a plus
Physical demands and abilities
- Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
- Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor
Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr. DOE
We are on an alternative work schedule and work four, ten-hour days.
Mon.-Thurs. 6:00am-4:30pm.
