Full Time Position: 2 Available

Electronic / Mechanical Technician 


  • Troubleshoot, Repair boards for the Verigy V5500 and V6000 assemblies
  • Test and repair boards, touch up, and rework failures


  • Component level experience a must
  • Digital and Analog circuit experience a must
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Ability to understand mechanical drawings
  • Ability to interface with fellow technicians daily

Reports to: Advantest Supervisor

Pay Rate: $28-$30/hr. DOE

Mechanical Assembler

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and other written and verbal instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize handheld tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
  • Performing soldering
  • Work with all types of components
  • Maintain inventory of product in workstations
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area                              

Qualification requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • PC/MRP experience a plus

Physical demands and abilities

  • Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor

Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr. DOE

We are on an alternative work schedule and work four, ten-hour days.

Mon.-Thurs. 6:00am-4:30pm.
